Dear Ondrus,
It's hard to express the true feeling of a lose like this but I was truly lost for words when I heard of this.
I worked with Dave at Lakewood for several years on the same crew and enjoyed being around him. He was alway
helpful and willing to asist. I'm sure he'll be missed by many of his work mates.My prayers go out to his entire family.

Angie, Emilie, Kadie and the entire Ondrus Family, I was shocked when I received word of Dave's passing today and extend my deepest Sympathy to all and I will have all of you in my thoughts and prayers. I will miss seeing him on Friday's at the diner with his group from Edison, he always updated me on Emilie and Kadie. He will be missed by all who he came in contact with.

Angie,Emilie& Kadie, I am very sorry to her of Dave's (Your Dads) passing . I had the pleasure of knowing you all threw the Bay Shore Supper Club and Dave working with my uncle (Mike Vincent)and the rest of the crew who would always come there to eat when they were working . He was a great man ! I know none of this makes any sense to you and probably never will. just find comfort in your memories and know how much he loved you all ! Dear Angie & girls, I knew Dave from high school, saw him again when I took care of Angie when she was expecting the girls, and then ran into you all through Clay events. The girls I knew while my time as Clay's nurse. Even knew sister Linda and Kim. Seems I kept bumping into him all these years. He always had a hello and a smile for me. I will miss that. Dave was one of the nicest men I ever had the honor of working with when I was in the office at Delaware. He talked about his family often. Good men are very few these days and this is a great loss for all who knew him. May GOD heal your hearts quickly over his passing and please accept my deepest sympathy.

My condolences to Angie and the entire Ondrus family. I used to sometimes see Angie at Owens Community College. Angie and the other Ondrus "kids" were in my classes at Clay High School. A few years ago I recall seeing Amy and Pete at the Franklin Park Mall and we had a long conversation and they met my wife Jan. Linda and I taught together at Clay and the last time I saw her was at a retirement party held for Clay teacher Herman Dunwald the spring of 2001. Again, our sympathies are extended to the Ondrus family.

Dave was a great co-worker at Toledo Edison, but he was an even better friend. He was there for me throughout my struggles with my back disability, and I will truly miss his support and friendship.

So very sorry to read / hear this news!! . I worked with Dave for years at Lakewood . He was very dedicated to his job and his daughters . An easy going guy, that was fun, and great to talk to !. Everyone liked this man -everyone !!!.He always talked highly about his daughters and the sports that they were into !!...He will be missed for sure !. Sad, very,very Sad !
