Donald CRON Obituary

CRON Donald Donald Cron, 84, of Liberty Center, passed away Friday, September 23, 2011. Don was born in Wayne, Ohio, to the late Irvin and Jessie (Steffen) Cron. He married 34 years to the love of his life Gertrude, who preceded him in death in 2005. Don is survived by his son, Dale (Cila) Cron of California; daughter, Marcia (Jim) Michalski of Toledo; grandchildren, Steve Urbanski of Alaska, Lori Sheehan of Liberty Center, Dana (Devin) Barrett of Waterville; sisters, Harriet Epke of Liberty Center and Susie Midili of Flordia; a brother, Leslie Cron of Holland; great-grand children, Megan, Joshuah, Ryan, PFC, Brittany Sheehan, Erin and Taylor and a great-great- grandson, Jordan. Don was preceded in death by his brother, Rosco Cron and sister, Audine Cron. Don proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was proud to being a crewman on the USS Enterprise, memories which he cherished and loved sharing stories about with his family and friends. Don was a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Toledo. Private Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held in the Resurrection Cemetery in Toledo. Memorial contributions may be gifted in Don's honor to the Honor Flight of Northwest Ohio, PO Box 23018, Toledo, OH 43623. The family would like to thank Don's loving care givers at Heartland of Waterville. Arrangements were entrusted with Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory, Bowling Green. Marsha ,was so sorry to hear of Don's passing . He was a real nice guy and a lot of fun to be around. Please know i'm with you in spirit as i can't make it to the services. Love Diane Knight ( Kramer)
