Doris Janney
Doris J. Dauterman, 90 years, of Temperance, MI died, Friday September 7, 2012, in Hickory Creek Care Center. The daughter of
William Penn and Helen (Flory) Janney, she was born February 5, 1922, in Raisinville, MI. Doris was a 1941 graduate of Lambertville High School. She worked as a clerk at Howard Johnson's and the Center Carry Out. Doris enjoyed knitting, traveling and bingo.
She was a member of Lambertville United Methodist Church. Doris is survived by her loving children, Lyle (Jane) Dauterman and Jerry (Cynthia) Dauterman, 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne on September 22, 1999, 2 brothers, a sister, and her parents.
Visitation will be held Monday from 2 until 8 p.m. in
Urbanski's Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI where funeral services will be held by her pastor Rev. Thomas Zimmerman at 11 a.m. Tuesday with interment in Lambertville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation. Online condolences may be shared at
