BRANDT

Haylee Michelle

Haylee Michelle Brandt, 30, of Swanton, was tragically taken before her time on Wednesday, April 9, and pronounced dead on Friday, April 11, 2014.

Haylee had a passion for frogs, and considered her dogs, Lola and Arlo to be her kids. She was employed at Hilton Garden Inn in Perrysburg and spent many years at Glass Bowl Lanes working. Haylee enjoyed bowling, playing volleyball and creating fellowship with her friends and family. Ever since Haylee was little, she could run, placing in the top 10 percent of the races she entered. She enjoyed competing in the Dart Frog Dash run for the Toledo Zoo and this year, we as a family plan on making this an annual event. Please join or sponsor Team Haylee to help fulfill her goals.

She will be missed by her fiancé, Gregory Patterson and his three children, Andrew, Lorelei and Max. Haylee is survived by her father and mother, Thomas E. Brandt and Mary (Herman) Brandt; brothers, Derrick and Paul Brandt; sister, Justine (Steven) George and nieces, Carly and Skylar. Haylee was blessed with a large extended family and a multitude of friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Norma Jean Herman, and her Godmother, Barbara A. Corbin.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, (between Secor and Douglas Roads). Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, at 10 a.m., at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd.
