James Buchholz

Jim Buchholz went to be with his Lord Friday evening, September 14, surrounded by family and his friends at Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek in Holland Ohio where he and his wife Doris have been residents for the past four years. He was born in Ridgeville Corners Ohio on October 21, 1935 to George and Velma Buchholz. He attended Immanuel Lutheran Church in Toledo where he met the love of his life, Doris. Jim served in the United States Army spending most of his time in Germany. Upon his return to the States he followed his passion for design and construction of buildings in and around the Toledo area ultimately working in sales and project management for several firms in Toledo. Jim's life revolved around his grandchildren. He and Doris's happiest and proudest moments were when they were with the "kids". He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Velma Buchholz. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Doris; his three children son Jeff (Roxanne) Buchholz, daughter Kelly (Doug) Haack, son Todd (Marti) Buchholz; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S Reynolds Rd., on Tuesday September 18, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the mortuary. Interment services will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
