Joe C.
Joe C. Buckenmeyer of Temperance, MI passed on January 23, 2016 at his home. Joe was preceded in death by his father, James; and brother, John; grandparents, James and Marjorie Eaton; and Cletus and Berneice Buckenmeyer. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen and sister, Pam Paredes (Randy); nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Joe was a graduate of Bedford High School where he played football and wrestled. He also volunteered at Indian Creek Zoo where he found great joy in caring for the animals and working with his coworkers.
Mass of Resurrection will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 13 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Temperance. Visitation will take place one hour prior at the church. For those wishing to make a donation, the family is respectfully asking for donations toward the funeral costs.

Condolences on the passing of Joe. I am writing because I was a classmate of a John Buckenmeyer at St. Jude elementery around 1960. Was this Joe's deceased brother ? What happened to John ?
