Josephine "Josie"



Josephine "Josie" Culpepper, 64, died August 9, 2013, at her home. Born in Waverly Hall, GA, she was a 40 year employee of The Toledo Hospital working as an instrument technician. Josie was an active and faithful member of Bethel Apostolic, The Beacon Church, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school. Josie was also a licensed beautician working at Mixed Company and Motivations. She was a loving mother and a wonderful friend to many. Josie was kind hearted and cared more about others than herself.

Josie leaves a loving and devoted family including her daughter, Stephanie Culpepper; four sisters, Bettye, Mary and Catherine Culpepper, all of Toledo, Bernell Culpepper of Troy, MI; brothers, Steve Culpepper of Waverly Hall, GA, Wilbur and Maurice Culpepper, both of Toledo; niece, Michelle (Alonzo) Taylor; nephews, Steve Culpepper of Chicago, IL and Joey Culpepper of Columbus, OH, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday 5-8 p.m. Dale-Riggs Funeral Home Chapel. Family hour Friday 9:00 a.m., followed by funeral services 10:00 a.m. Bethel Apostolic, The Beacon Church, Pastor Belinda Akpassa officiant. Interment Toledo Memorial Park.
