Lawrence Edward Campbell, 62 of Columbus, Ohio, departed this life to be with the Lord on May 26, 2013. Born May 29, 1950, in Tazwell, VA to Jampsey Campbell and Julia Sesson. Lawrence a.k.a. "Fuzzy" attended Davis Jr. Business College, where he obtained an Associate's degree in Business Administration in 1986. He served our country as a U.S. Air Force Sergeant for four years and fought in the Vietnam War. He was later honorably discharged after four years. After his service to the U.S. Air Force he settled in Toledo, Oh where he worked for 21 years as an electrical lineman. He later dedicated his life to the Lord and was a member of Asbury North United Methodist Church, in Columbus, OH, where he enjoyed singing in the choir. Lawrence (Fuzzy) was very loving, family oriented, and had a heart of gold. He kept a sense of humor and had an unforgettable smile that would light up a room.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Terrence Campbell, and sister, Barbara Swayne. He leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life, daughters, Sharhonda (Shawn) Stockman, Woodland Hills, CA, Laurice (George) Haycraft, Toledo, OH, Rebecca Campbell, Tavares, FL; brother, Jampsey Campbell, Hagerstown, MD; sister, Torrence (Robert) Petties, Hagerstown, MD; grandchildren, Taelor Brothers, Micah and Ty Stockman, Jaedyn Haycraft, and Brooklyn Stockman, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and the love of his live his cat "Footie."
Celebration of life 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at House of Day Funeral Service, 2550 Nebraska Ave., Toledo, Oh, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the start of service. Minister Jimmy Ellis officiating.
