Lillian Moskowitz Obituary

MOSKOWITZ Lillian R. Lillian R. Moskowitz, age 92, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2008, at the Sunset House. She was born on January 21, 1916, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Hyman and Bessie Duchon. A member of Congregation B'Nai Israel, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was loved by many and liked by all who knew her. Lil was preceded in death by her husband, Martin; daughter, Hyla and seven siblings. Surviving are her son, Steven (Susan) and son-in-law, Thomas Taplinger; grandchildren, Robyn (Jeremy) Pearson, Matthew Taplinger and Erin Moskowitz; great-grandson, Harrison Pearson and special nieces and nephews, Ron (Charla), Hilene. and Shay (Susan) Bilchik and Eleanor (Al) Ziegler. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2008, in the Robert H. Wick/Wisniewski Funeral Home, 2426 North Reynolds Rd. (419-535-5840) followed by Interment at Beth Shalom Cemetery. Following services and also on Friday from 12-5 p.m., family and friends will be received in the home of Steve and Sue Moskowitz. The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to all the staff at the Sunset House for their caring compassion. Memorial contributions may be made to Congregation B'Nai Israel or the Sunset House.
