Martha BLANKENSHIP Obituary

BLANKENSHIP Martha "Louise" Louise Blankenship, of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2010, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Toledo at the age of 81. She was born to Connie Robert and Era Ines (Crain) Brown in Campbell, MO where she also attended Campbell High School. Louise worked at Jeep where she was known as "Grandma" and she retired in 1990. She was a very kind and generous, giving, loving, caring, woman who was always taking care of others and put others before herself. She was known for her fabulous baking especially her cinnamon rolls. Louise was preceded in death by parents; husband, Lloyd (2001) and brother, Bobby Brown. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Jerry L. Blankenship of Toledo, Larry Blankenship of Toledo; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; sisters, Wanda Dunlap of Advance, MO and Bonnie Sue Spears of Auburn Hills, MI; care taker and best friend, Debbie Brumley, Toledo, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews and special nephew, Ed Blankenship of Sylvania. Visitation will begin in the David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St., (419.726.1583) on Monday, October 11, 2010 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral home the same day with Pastor Rick Rust officiating. Interment will be in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the Leukemia Research Foundation, 3520 Lake Avenue, Suite #202, Wilmette, IL 60091-1064.
