Mary Jane Bolbach Obituary
Mary Jane Bolbach

Mary Jane Bolbach, 69, of Toledo, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at Ebeid Hospice Residence surrounded by her family. She was born March 29, 1949 in Findlay, OH, to Richard and Helen Rae (Sprague) Wensink.

Mary Jane married the love of her life, Barton Bolbach, on November 7, 1970, and shared 47 wonderful years together. She graduated from St. Vincent's Nursing School with her RN, in 1970. She worked for St. Vincent's before continuing her education and becoming a women's health nurse practitioner. Mary worked helping others for 41 years until her retirement in 2011, from Dr. Alma Garlo's practice at Flower Hospital. She loved her work and patients with an "always listening" ear and kind heart.

After retirement, Mary was able to spend time with her other loves, her grandchildren and sewing. She could spend hours sewing for family and friends. She also devoted her time to a cause near and dear to her heart, the Parkinson Foundation of Northwest Ohio, as a board member. Mary spent her life caring for others and being the ear anyone could talk to.

She is survived by her husband, Bart; children, Jeffery (Melinda) Bolbach, Joel (Regina) Bolbach, Bradley (Meghann) Bolbach, Elizabeth (Jason) Peniston, Mark (Jennifer) Smith; the joys of her life, her grandchildren, Isabella, Delaney, William, Tobias, Zachary, Grace, Mackenzie, Katrina, and Elias; mother, Marie Wensink; mother-in-law, Doris Bolbach along with numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Helen Rae Wensink, father-in-law, Richard Bolbach, and nephew, Andrew Bolbach.

Visitation will take place on Friday, June 15th from 2-8 p.m., at the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, (between Secor and Douglas Roads), where a scripture service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, June 16th, at 10 a.m., at The Most Blessed Sacrament Church, (2240 Castlewood Drive at Bellevue Road). Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Parkinson Foundation of Northwest Ohio, 150 West South Boundary, PMB #202, Perrysburg, OH 43551.
