Also surviving is a daughter, Deborah (Dave) Moore of McComb. There are 7 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Dennis was preceded in death by three sons, Samuel, Donald, and Timothy; three brothers, Richard, John, and Clem Borsos, and three sisters, Evelyn Baker, Lela Hartzell, and Mildred Treffert.
Mrs. Dennis was a 1947 graduate of Holland High School Holland, OH. She was a member of the Springfield Alumni Association. She retired from the McComb Middle School as a Lunch Lady, and prior to that she worked at Deshler Products for 10 years.
Pat was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to so many. She will be greatly missed by all. She and Don shared 64 years of marriage together raising their family and farming. Pat made many lasting friendships while working at Deshler Products and at McComb Middle School. She cherished those friendships to the end. Her strength, family and friends helped her get through many difficult times in her life. If you were Pat's friend you have shared many tears and laughs over the years. We chose to remember her smile. Her impact on the students, teachers and staff at the school will last forever. Her generosity is a lesson for us all. Only God knows how many times she bought a child's lunch or school supplies over the years.
