Ray E. Bryant, age 80, of Lambertville, MI, passed into eternal life on September 7th, 2013, at home surrounded by his family. He was born to Elmer and Mae (Estes) Bryant in Toledo, OH. He attended Bedford H.S. Class of 1951. He retired from Roadway Express in 1991. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Temperance, MI. Ray was active with Teamsters Retirees, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the Bedford Senior Center. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict, was a member of the 90th Strategic Reconnaissance Wing Association. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his children, and grandchildren. They were the light and love of his life. He was an avid woodcarver, carving many beautiful pieces, and canes. He met and married the love of his life, Kathryn (Bolander) in 1952. He left us way too soon, but left us with many wonderful memories.
Left to cherish his memory is wife, Kathryn, of 61 years; sons, Rick (Robin), and Jerry (Karen) Bryant; grandchildren, Joshua (Miranda), Justin, Jacob Bryant, and Kylie (Ryan) Zink, Nicole (Ken), Smith, and Austin (Elyse) Bryant; great-grandchildren, Sadie, and Ruby Bryant; sister, Lois Paris in South Carolina, Ruth Cicerella, Toledo, OH. He was preceded in death by son Darrin; parents; a brother, and sisters.
At his request there will be no visitation, or services.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery Temperance, MI. The family requests that donations be made to the Hospice of Northwest Ohio, or the
