Dear Brookover Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Becca's passing. I remember Becca as one of my favorite students at SFA and still see her in my mind's eye as that 4th grader with long blond hair. She particularly enjoyed learning about the Ididarod. I still have the picture of her class with the musher that visited school. Ellie has fond memories of Becca from last year at NDA. They often times rode the elevator together and Becca would share a little about how she was feeling.

Although we never had the privilege of meeting Becca in person, I remember feeling that our extended family was doubly blessed on Oct. 14th of 1994 with the birth of two beautiful baby girls... Becca and our daughter, Emma.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Rebecca's family and friends. Although I had never met her, I work with her aunt. The stories that her aunt shared over the past few years were a tribute to how hard Rebecca fought and how much she loved life. Although I didnt know Becca, my daughter is also a student at NDA and knew of Rebecca's illness. NDA is a family and I know the entire school sends prayers.
