Robert Lester Jr.
Sunrise: July 10, 1944 - Sunset: February 3, 2013. Some men leave their mark on the world by the way they live and the difference they make in the lives they touch. Bobby touched the lives of many. Bobby was a warrior! His enduring smile and permeating spirit shouted out kindness, generosity and caring. Bobby's goodness was his enduring legacy to family, friends and community. There never was a bad word spoken. Bobby is irreplaceable! It is impossible to accept the loss of his gentle soul, one can only embrace it.
There is a stillness to all sorrow. It is immobilizing.
It was Bobby's wish, that there be no funeral service. A memorial celebration, "The wonder of his life" will be scheduled at a later date.
Bobby was cherished by his loving and devoted wife, Carmen Collins; daughters, Shelly (Dennis) Boyd, Rhonda McFadden, Robyn Harrison and Jamie (Pete) Loyd; sister, Angela (Noah) Britt; mother-in-law, Lillian Kyser; grandchildren, Leah, Evan, Javon, Chester III, Tai, Kayla and Orlando R., and a host of nieces, nephews, the entire Kyser family and great friends.
