Robert "Lucky" Conner, 53, of Toledo, Ohio left his earthly home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 27, 2014. Robert attended Joseph W. Scott High School and attended the University of Toledo Community College. He worked as a chemical processor at Perstorp Polyols for over 25 years. Robert was known for his "cool" sense of style, upbeat attitude and his love for Scott High School - "Once a bulldog, always a bulldog." He loved his family and was always willing to help others.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Maggie L. Wright and father, Nathan Conner; sister, Mellanee Lynette Dunson and brother-in-law, Christopher Russell.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, LoBrender F. Conner; daughter, Taria Banks; granddaughter, TaTiyona Banks. He is also survived by his sisters, Elaine (James) Easter of Toledo, Karen (Charles) Scales of Columbus, Deborah Russell, Nadeen (Kiel) Brown of Troy, Michigan; brothers, Ernest Dunson of Columbus, Nathan Conner of Marysville; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Hawkins of Toledo and Angloria (Delbert) Freeman of Toledo. He is loved by a host of nieces, nephews, family and special friends.
Family hour will be Sunday, February 2, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at The House of Day Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Monday, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1430 W. Bancroft Street, Toledo, Ohio, followed by
Funeral Services at 11 a.m.
