Robert E. BUNDE

BUNDE Robert E. Robert E. Bunde, age 88, of Monclova Twp., died October 10, 2010, at his home. He was born on May 28, 1922, at home on the farm on Ramm Road Monclova to Henry F and Emma E. (Sasse) Bunde. Bob was a 1940 graduate of Monclova High School. Bob farmed all his life. He worked for Plascon in Toledo for 31 years, retiring in 1982. He also worked for Johns Manville for 2 1/2 years. Bob was a member of the Community of Christ Lutheran Church in Whitehouse, OH, the German American Society and camping club. He loved watching deer, birds and nature. Bob married Louise Vogelbacher February 19, 1944 at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Bono, Ohio. She died April 25, 2000. Survivors include children, Josephine (Ted) Sipes of Bowling Green, OH, Regina McCormick of Norwalk, CT and John (Julie) Bunde of Holland, OH, grand children, Lisa Sipes of Bowling Green, OH and Joshua (Kimberly) Bunde of Lumberton, TX, and sister-in-law, Dorothy Bunde of Monclova, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Louise and brothers, Albert, Louis and Charles. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Community of Christ Lutheran Church, Whitehouse, OH. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Ron Heinz will officiate. Over the past several years numerous caregivers have served in the home. We want to thank them very much for their compassionate service.
