Robert M. Felt, 88, formerly of Oregon, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013, at West Park Place, Toledo, Ohio. Robert was born in Toledo, Ohio to Maynard T. and Hannah Felt. On October 28, 1950, he married Helen who preceded him in death, along with his parents. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in World War II. Robert graduated from Waite High School in 1943 and then went on to graduate from University of Toledo. He was an Engineer for Libbey Owens Ford for 38 years retiring in 1987. Bob was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. Robert held an amateur Radio License with the FCC. In his spare time he refereed basketball and was an umpire for softball leagues.
Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Dorothy Felt; granddaughter, Allison Felt, all of Palmyra, PA.
Friends and family may visit the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will take place immediately following the funeral services and will be held at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in Robert's memory are asked to consider St. Mark Lutheran Church, Toledo, Ohio.
