FRANK Robert J. Jr. "Joe" Joe Frank, age 50, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 21, 2011 with his loving family by his side at Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Toledo. He was born in Toledo on June 30, 1960 to Robert and Judith Frank. Joe graduated from Whitmer High School in 1978. Joe was employed as a plumber\pipefitter for 30 years and a member of Local 50 plumbers\pipefitters union for 30 years. Joe was passionate about muscle cars, including his favorite blue 1967 GTO, which he bought over 30 years ago. He loved traveling to Florida, especially to Fort Myers Beach. Joe was a family man at heart, spending time with his wife and children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Judith Frank and mother-in-law, Margaret Fish. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Brenda (Fish) Frank; children, Julianne Frank, Joseph Frank, Janelle Frank; sisters, Jennifer (Everett) Frick, Shelly (Ron) Hammond; step mother, Dana Frank; father-in-law, Donald (Sandra) Fish; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews. Visitation for Joe will be at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd (at Alexis) 419-473-1301, on Wednesday, April 27 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Joe's family would like to "Thank" everyone at Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their love, care and compassion. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E.
