Rosalie HASENBALG Obituary

HASENBALG Rosalie Ann (Fizer) Rose gave up the good fight with cancer December 7th, 2009. Rose was 74. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Born August 3rd, 1935, to Ray and Gladys Fizer, Rose was a graduate of Clay High School. She was the much beloved wife of Edwin. Rose and Ed were seldom apart during 56 years of marriage. She is mother to Keith Alan (Dawn) and Randy Lee who has been estranged from his family for many years. Her granddaughters, Britanee (Gabe) of Columbus and Jocelyn of Oregon, were the love of her life. Rose also has a grandson, David, whose whereabouts are unknown, and three grandchildren by Randy. She has 2 sisters, Karen Finley and Bonnie Hinton, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her parents and a son, David Ray. Rose was a homemaker most of her life, and loved craft painting, traveling and camping. Together with Ed, she saw most all of the country. One of her favorite places was Hunting Island, South Carolina. She was a robust, people person and lit up the lives of all around her. She will be much missed by all who knew her. A celebration of Rose's life will be held in January and the details will be announced in a future edition of the Blade. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551. Arrangements entrusted to Cremation Society of Toledo (419) 861-3770. Online condolences may be shared at: www.toledocremation.com "Rose, you shall be cherished and remembered forever. We love you so much"!

Ed,
So sorry to hear of the passing of Rose. Some very good times were shared with the two of you. although it was years ago now.

I know that you will make it through this time of grief....perhaps by celebrating her life rather than dwelling so much on her passing will make it a bit easier for you.

Rose was a joy to be around. Will be thinking of you at this time. Bill
