I met Rose at our Kroger store. She would come in on Wednesdays (senior day) to play her lottery and shop with her nephew Georgie. She'd always come in around the the same time every week, right after the beauty parlor. We became friends, l looked forward to her coming in each and every week. Then it became too hard for her to walk the store anymore and she sent Georgie on Wednesday instead. I missed her, I would do some of my fancy artwork on a paper bags, sending my love to her, just to hopefully brighten her day, just a little. I will miss my friend and I know she is finally at peace. RIP Sweet Rose.
