FRITZ Thomas Thomas J. Fritz, age 38, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012. Thomas served in the Ohio National Guard from 1997-1998 and 2002-2004 and the Army Reserve from 1999-2002. Thomas was a specialist in the military police and served in Iraq from 2003-2004. He was awarded the Combat Acton Badge, the Armed Forces Reserve Medal with M Device and the Army Commendation Medal. Thomas worked as a prison guard in Phoenix, Arizona and recently operated his own business out of Toledo. Thomas is survived by his mother, Carol (Louis) Schlieman; daughter, Ellise Coy; son, Blake Roop; sister, Carrie Qurbanali, and brother, Eric (Kendra) Schlieman, and many aunts and uncles who loved him.
