ANAYA Wanda M. Wanda Anaya, age 82, of Holland passed away unexpectedly on July 4, 2012, in her home. Wanda was born in Sylvania on December 13, 1929 to John and Clara (Bertram) Cole. She married Herman Anaya in Maumee on August 31, 1957, and he preceded her in death in August, 2003. Wanda worked for Foodtown as a meat wrapper for over 37 years retiring in 1990. She was a member of Providence Lutheran Church; the Maumee Eagles and Eagles Reac. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving are her children, Michael (Nancy) Sterling, Tony (Donna) Anaya, Jesse (Dianne) Anaya, Herman (Donna) Anaya, David Anaya; sister, Luella (Carmen) Izzi; sister-in-law, Joanne Cole; brothers-in-law, Massie Anaya and Ralph Gonzalez; 17 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, John and Charles "Snip" Sterling, Richard "Shank" Anaya; brothers, Jay Cole, Richard "Butch" Cole; sisters, Sharon Sandy and Theresa Brewer. Friends and family will be received in the Neville Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland (419-865-8879) from 2-8 p.m. Sunday where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday July 9, 2012.
