Alice Louise (Allison) 8/25/32 - 2/17/14



Mrs. Alice Noonan, wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, aunt, great- aunt, friend and American Patriot, passed away on February 17, 2014, at the Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach, FL.

Alice is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard (Dick) Noonan Sr. They were married on June 14, 1958. She is also survived by her children, Carol (Rick) Maier of Perrysburg, OH, Linda (Fred) McGuire of Sigel, PA, Barbara (Saeed) Farbakhsh of Port St. Lucie, FL, Richard (Linda) Noonan Jr. of Monclova, OH and Miles (Marty) Noonan of Napoleon, OH; 15 grandchildren and 25 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George (Marie Berry) Allison and an infant daughter, Yvonne.

She was a stomach cancer survivor of 27 years. She had a strong fighting spirit, which validated her devoted commitment to her children, by remaining involved in her children's school activities. Being sponsor of the cheerleading squad, den mother of cub scouts, brownie team scout leader, as well as directing other scholastic programs simultaneously. Alice had the compassion which supported and lead countless bake sale and car wash events; all to raise money for the curricular activities her children enjoyed. She worked very hard and will always be remembered by her family for her unconditional love and sacrifices.

Alice Noonan will be missed by all who knew her. Her family and friends will be comforted by knowing that on Monday, February 17, 2014, when God was gathering jewels, he picked Alice. Alice was a long time member of the Little Flower Catholic Church.

Friends may call at Reeb Funeral Home Sunday, February 23, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., where VFW Post 2898 will conduct services at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will begin Monday, at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Alice will be laid to rest at Highland Memory Gardens.
