David K. Sr.



David K. Zaski Sr., 81, of Sylvania, OH, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014, after a hard fought battle with cancer.

David was proud to have served with the United States Air Force during the Korean War. After being discharged, he began working in the mail room of Toledo Edison and retired as Vice President of the company in the mid 1980s. Dave was an active and interested member of the community. He served as President of both the N.W.O. Credit Association and the Toledo Exchange Club. Dave was a Board Member of N.W.O. Family Services, the St. Francis Rehabilitation Center, Green Springs, the Better Business Bureau, and the Exchange Club. Dave served on the Board of

Trustee's of the MS Society, Easter Seals, Sylvania Chamber of Commerce, Sylvania Community Services, Tam O Shanter and the Franciscan Center. He volunteered countless hours for Easter Seals (was first adult poster person), the MS Society, Sisters of St. Francis, the United Way, the American Cancer Society, the Kidney Foundation, Kiwanis Club of Sylvania, the City of Sylvania, the Salvation Army and Otterbein Portage Valley. Dave was a Life Member of the V.F.W. He was a fiercely loyal Ohio State Buckeye fan.

Dave is survived by his

loving daughter, Debbie (Lonnie) Arnold; son, David Zaski Jr.; 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patti Zaski.

Dave's life will be celebrated and Military Honors bestowed at a Memorial Service at the Reeb Funeral Home Saturday, April 5, at 11 a.m., where family and friends may gather one hour prior.
