J. Stewart "Boopsie"

Stewart Yoder, age 52, of Holland, passed away on April 16, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee with his family at his bedside. Stewart was born in Wauseon, Ohio on November 9, 1961, to John Franklin and Geraldine (Phillips) Yoder. He was a graduate of State Line Christian School, a member of the American Federation of Clowns and was also into Miming. He also loved Gospel Music and singing, as well as being a sports fan especially enjoying watching the Tampa Bay Bucs and Tampa Bay Rays. A devoted son, companion, brother and friend he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving is his loving mother, Geraldine; brothers, Sam Yoder, Shane (Anissa) Yoder, Scott (Lisa) Yoder; sister, Sheri (Randall) Harper; 20 nieces and nephews; 2 great-nephews; 1 great-niece; former sister-in-law, Connie Pfaff-Yoder and beloved pets, "Lilly" and "Peanut". He was preceded in death by his father, John Franklin Yoder; brother, Stephen Yoder; great-niece, Adalyn Harper; life companion, Frank Barker; grandparents, Loran and Vera Yoder and Dorothy Phillips.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of Stewart's caretakers, including, the staff at The Swanton Valley Medical Center, Regency Care Hospital and all of the physicians and nurses at St. Luke's Hospital Intensive Care Unit. We wish to graciously thank Candy Corbett for all of her love and special care offered to Stewart through the years.

Friends and family will be received in the Neville Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland (419-865-8879) from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2014. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Wauseon.
