Bobby Joe Sr.
Bobby Joe Peppers Sr., 64, passed away on April 21, 2014. He was born on November 5, 1949, to the late Velma (Bouldin) and James Peppers in Boaz, Alabama.
Bobby was a 1969 graduate of Whitmer High School where he was an All-American Linebacker. He was inducted into Whitmer's Athletic Hall of Fame in 2006. Bobby retired as a Mechanic at Chrysler-Jeep, after many years of service. Bobby enjoyed playing softball on the Jeep teams and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his brothers, Lowell and Donald and sister, Lila. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Kimberly; children, James (Laura) Peppers, Bobby Peppers Jr. and Sean (Marisa) Dutridge; siblings, Ruby (Dave), Patricia (Tim) and Johnny (Marie); sisters-in-law; Martha and Carol; his beloved grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests on Friday, April 25, 2014, from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
