Boyd Stacy, 88, of Toledo, OH died at Mercy St. Charles Hospital on Wednesday, May 7, 2014. He was born on March 7, 1926, to Felix and Alice Stacy in Egypt, KY. Boyd worked as a lineman at Siemens, retiring after 25 years. He served in the Navy during WWII; his country will never forget his service and sacrifice. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and loved playing Gospel and Blue Grass music. He played at different churches and the band was known as "The Stacy Family."

Surviving Boyd is his loving wife of 23 years, Nettie; daughter, Judy (Tim) Lay; along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sons, and 1 daughter.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014, at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Lutheran Home at Toledo Assisted Living, 2519 Seaman St., Toledo, OH 43605. There is no interment.
