Robert K. Patchen of Point Place went to meet his Savior on Friday, May 16, 2014. Bob was born on September 10, 1930 to P. Kenneth and Irma Patchen. He served in the United States Navy from 1951-1954, and is a veteran of the Korean War. After returning from the war he worked for his father at Ken Patchen Electric as a journeyman electrician with IBEW Local 8. After his father's death, he opened Bob Patchen Electric in Point Place.
Bob is survived by five children, Richard (Sue) Koch, Nancy (Skip) Bernard, Bill (Jenny) Patchen, Kadee (Mike) Anstadt, and Kristi Patchen-Howerton.
In addition to his children, he is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 52 years, Lynette (Veitch) Patchen; Seventeen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren also will miss Grandpa.
His legacy is the Christian faith he passed on to his children, grandchildren, and many others over the years in the Bible studies he led. Bob was a member of Compelled Church in Temperance, Michigan.
The family would like to thank the nurses and aides at West Park Place, Lutheran Home of Toledo and Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg.
The family held a private service on Saturday, May 17, 2014.
