Marjorie Jean Tibbits, 89,

of Toledo, passed away

peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Hospice

of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. Marge was born in Westport, SD on December 13, 1924, to Oscar and Amy Ronning.

After her graduation in 1942, from Stratford High School in South Dakota, she met the love of her life, Harold Tibbits, who was stationed there while serving in the Army Air Corps. They were married and returned to Toledo.

Marge had a green thumb and could grow anything. She loved working in her yard and flower beds. She also enjoyed bowling and her Bunco club, but most of all she cherished her time spent with her family.

Marge was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Harold; her parents, four brothers, a sister, and son-in-law, Bill Dombrowsky. Surviving are her three daughters, Judy (David) Fackler, Cheryl (David) Lawson, and Pamela Dombrowsky. Also surviving are grandchildren and great-grandchildren, David and Gail Lawson (Matthew and Nicholas), Lorie and Gary Stookey (Christine and Amanda), Scot and Holly Lawson (Abby and Amy), Dawn and Ray Rodriguez (Morgan and Tyler Bennett), Tammie and Craig Dennis (Christopher, Andrew and Joshua), Tonya and Jason Ainsworth (Gavin), Michelle Fackler (Nakia, Kirsten, Hunter, Blake and Aiden Hicks), Heather and Phil Klingensmith (Camryn and Cole), Todd and Heather Fackler; brother-in-law, Robert Tibbits and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the

Walter Funeral Home 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, Ohio on Wednesday, May 28, from 11 a.m. until service time beginning at 1 p.m.

Interment will follow in Ft. Meigs Cemetery, Perrysburg, Ohio. Memorial contributions are requested to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
