Charles "Bud" Edward
Charles "Bud" Edward Harrison of the Point/Shoreland Community passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at the Franciscan Care Center at the age of 62. He was born to Andy and Freda (Steiner) Harrison on April 18, 1952. Bud was a professional photographer, owner of Charles Harrison Photography in Point Place and helped preserve joyful moments for hundreds of people in our community. Bud also worked as a Mold Design Engineer for Libbey Glass Co. for over 30 years before retiring in 2011. He was a member of the Professional Photographers of NWO, Wedding Photographers of America, and a longtime member of the Point Place Business Association. He loved traveling, fishing and boating. Bud was a die hard Indians fan but the biggest joy in his life was spending time with his family, especially his precious grandchildren.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Ted Lowe; best friend, Wayne Helle, and his beloved fur baby, Snickers. Left to cherish his memory are loving wife of 41 years, Barbara (Lowe); children, Tammy (Mike) Koleszar, Andrew (Matt English) Harrison and Lori (Jenny Jay) Harrison; grandchildren, Anna, Gabriel, Zachary and Nora Hope Koleszar; sisters, Laurel (Butch) Bresina, Christina (Ross) Bradley; special aunt, Marge Harrison; mother-in-law, Donna Lowe; sisters-in-law, Sue (Santos) Avila, Bonnie Tresnan and Sandy (Duane) Chittum; brother-in-law, Bruce (Karen) Lowe.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, June 4, 2014, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit Street, (419-726-1583). Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in Toledo Memorial Park.
