Janis E. Haslinger, 72, of Findlay passed away at 8:01 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2014, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. She was born on May 12, 1942, to the late Carlton and Cledola (Rumschlaug) Flechtner in Tiffin, OH. She married Michael Haslinger on November 7, 1954, and he survives.
Janis is also survived by her children, Kevin, Kristine, Leah all of Findlay, and her brother, Donald (Nancy) Flechtner who reside in Tiffin. She is also survived by her in-laws, Judy and Ralph Barrell of Columbus, Gary and Joann Haslinger, Susie and Dale Lauck all of Findlay and Katie Felli of Mission Viejo, CA. She was preceded in death by D.J. Felli and Alice and Rupert Haslinger.
Janis was a beloved wife and mother who devoted her life to her family.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay, where a rosary service will begin at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, downtown. Father Jim Brown will be celebrant and burial will follow in the St. Michael Cemetery Columbarium.
