Clara Fay Marlow, 73, of Toledo, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Fay was born in Jellico, TN on December 17, 1940 to Clarence and Dorothy (Ausmus) Marlow. In the past, Fay had worked at Lott Industries, Epilepsy Center and most recently with the Zeigler Rehabilitation Center, where she resided for the past 22 years. Fay was a member of North Toledo Baptist Church. Fay loved to go shopping and traveling, going to Disneyland, Dollywood and Hershey, Pennsylvania. She also had a special love in her heart for babies.
Surviving are her sister, Carrie (Jim) Herweh; nephews, Ray (Debbie) Jeffers, Dan (Sandy) Jeffers and Joe (Barb) Jeffers. Also surviving are many great-nieces and nephews. Fay was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road from 4 p.m. Monday until the time of her funeral service at 7 p.m. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Huddleston Cemetery, Jellico, TN. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Fay's memory are asked to consider Ziegler Rehabilitation Center or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Fay's family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to all those who gave loving care to Fay at the Ziegler Center for providing her with compassion and love during her life and to Hospice of Northwest Ohio for making Clara's final journey home peaceful.
