Randy S. Lindner, age 59, passed away suddenly on Friday at The Toledo Hospital. The son of Robert and Betty, he was born February 16, 1955, in Sylvania. He was a graduate of Northview High School and attended Bowling Green State University. Randy was a self employed carpenter. He enjoyed working with his hands and had the unique gift of building and fabricating almost anything. He was also a very talented calligrapher and was passionate about sharing his talent with everyone. There are literally thousands of people who have a quote, note or fun saying that he had written and given away. For that reason, he lives on in more ways than just in memory. Randy will be remembered most as a loyal and dependable friend. When there was a need he was always willing to step up help.
He is survived by his son, Matthew Lindner; grandson Justin Kai Lindner; life partner of 22 years, Debbie Stroud; mother of his son, Christine Lindner; siblings, Larry (Darlene) Lindner, Dusty Lindner, Mark (Jackie) Lindner, Robin (Scott) Barber, and Craig (Gib) Lindner, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Jackie.
