Mary Helen

Mary Helen Williams, 85, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2014, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo.

Mary Helen was a graduate of Libbey High School. She and her husband, Irving, have been long time members of Cass Road Baptist Church. Mary Helen loved caring for babies and children, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. For several years she worked as a J.C. Penney Associate. She enjoyed traveling, camping and boating with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Beulah Seideman; son, Ronald G. Williams and sister, Margaret Higgins. She is survived by the love of her life for 66 years, Irving Williams; daughter, Sharon (Bill) Eickholt; daughter-in-law, Susan Williams; grandchildren, William Eickholt II, Melissa Eickholt Kidd (JR), Theodore Williams, Jennifer Williams, Sarah Eickholt, Laurie Williams Cater (Chris); 7 great-grandchildren; nephew, Fred A. Higgins (Mary Lou) and special kitty, Ellie.

Family and friends may call at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, on Wednesday, July 2, from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please consider donations Cass Road Baptist Church, Maumee, Ohio.
