James Robb, 85 years, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away Thursday morning, surrounded by his family, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Jim was born in Toledo, Ohio, to William and Irene Robb on November 19, 1928. He attended Central Catholic and Libbey High Schools.

Jim served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1950 to 1952. Upon his discharge, he returned to Toledo and worked for the Norfolk Southern Rail Road as a Car Inspector for 38 years retiring in 1986.

Jim married Josephine Ferrara on April 25, 1964. He was a fan of Notre Dame Football and the New York Yankees. Jim was a member of the Maumee Eagles, past member of Corda Club and a member of St. Patrick's of Heatherdowns Catholic Church.

Jim was preceded in death by his brother, William Robb and his sister, Barbara Krieg. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Josephine; brother, Daniel Robb; sister, Mary Ann (Pete) Martin; nieces, Gail and JoAnn who were his caregivers. He is also survived by many more nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S Reynolds Rd. on Sunday, July 13, 2014, from 2:00-8:00 p.m., where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the mortuary on Monday, July 14, at 9:30 a.m., followed by the funeral Mass at St. Patrick's of Heatherdowns Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
