Roger L. Wallace, 40, of Toledo, passed away after a long illness on July 16, 2014, at his residence. He was born on August 30, 1973, in Toledo, OH. Roger worked as an independent certified welding inspector for over 10 years. He enjoyed listening to music, reading, his Dr. Pepper, and was an avid sports fan of the L.A. Dodgers, Florida Seminoles and San Diego Chargers. Roger also loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren, whom he deeply cherished.
Roger was preceded in death by his grandparents. He will be dearly missed by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of over 20 years, Lisa (Szkudlarek); daughters, Tiffany (Corey) Lapoint and Gillian Wallace; grandchildren, Corey Jr., Aubree and Liam; sister, Amy Wallace; brother, Rick (Heidi) Wallace; parents, Kay and Joseph Etue; mother and father-in-law, Carl and Sherry Szkudlarek; sister-in-law, Amy Harrison, and by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many numerous friends.
Family and friends may visit on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
