Richard J.
Richard J. Elson of Toledo, Ohio passed away July 26, 2014. Richard was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 30, 1955, to Richard F. and Margaret C. (Clifford) Elson. Richard was a graduate of Libbey High School and Wilmington College with a degree in liberal Arts. Richard worked as a tree trimmer for a number of years; during retirement Richard acted as a caregiver in the last few years of his parents' lives.
Surviving are his siblings, Gerry (Virginia) Elson, Cathy Cook (Homer), Patricia (Paul) Frost, Timothy Elson; nieces and nephews, William (Kim) Cook, Danielle Weitlauf, Maggie (Josh) Spitler, Erin Barranco, Matthew Elson; grandnieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Mason, Cecelia, Nicholas, Brennan, Joey, Bree Cora.
There will be no visitation or services; burial will take place at a later date. Arrangements by The Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Road. Please view and sign Richard's condolence page at
