Mary Ann Miller, 80, of Holland, OH, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014, at The Toledo Hospital. She was born April 22, 1934, in Toledo, OH, to Irving and Anna (Ward) Brazeau.
Mary Ann was a graduate of Libbey High School. She married her true love John J. Miller in 1957 enjoying 57 years of marriage. Mary Ann loved people and it showed thru her 25 years as a waitress at Schmucker's where all the customers loved her. She loved books and was an avid reader and also enjoyed her bi-weekly visits to the beauty salon. Mary Ann was a huge Elvis Presley fan, enjoyed dancing, especially the Boogie Woogie and Charleston with her husband John. In earlier years they spent most weekends camping in Lyons, OH by the lake at a campground. They loved Halloween and hosted numerous parties at their home.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, John; siblings, Ruth Vogelbacher and Eugene Brazeau, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Gladys, Margaret and Norma; brothers, Bob, Larry and Don.
Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St., Sylvania, OH, Monday, August 4, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., where Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, August 5, at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Those wishing to give a memorial in Mary Ann's name are asked to consider Parkinson's Foundation of Northwest Ohio.
