Charles Leon "Chuck"



Charles Leon Sharp, 69, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2014, surrounded by his family. He was a proud graduate of Morrison R. Waite High School in Toledo, Ohio. He was also proud of his fishing skills as told in his stories about his fishing adventures. He was also a huge fan of the local hockey teams of Toledo. His love of sports also included his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes, Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Redwings.

He is survived by his children, William Sharp, Robert (Kelly) Sharp, Joseph (Angie) Kolby, Crystal Sharp; siblings, Louise (Almond) Smith, Edna Sharp, Betty (Ken) Hanes, Wanda Sharp and many nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Hannah Sharp; siblings, Earl Dwaine, Eugene, Paul, Carolyn, Odell and Clayton; wives, Mary Wamer, Rita Grzecki, and Renee Kolby.

Friends are invited to visit on Friday, August 8, 2014, from 2-8 p.m. in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Ave., where funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Interment will be in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Charles L.
