Lorna was known as a fashionista. Many of Lorna's friends would comment on how they loved her exquisite style.

Many new residents of Lawrence were greeted by her smiling face and inviting ways through her participation in Welcome Club. She loved her bridge groups and chat and stitch.

Lorna's curiosity led her to travel through the USA and numerous cruises.
