Clark E. Sr.

Clark E. Gould Sr., age 90, of Englewood, OH, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014. He retired after 45 years of service with Sun Oil Refinery. Clark was a veteran of WWII, having proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post #707 in Englewood and V.F.W. Post #7741 in Clayton. Clark was also active with the Grand Squares and enjoyed golfing and bowling.

He is survived by his very special friend, care giver and angel here on earth, Sandi Hamlin of Englewood; children, Clark (Marsha) Gould of Oregon, Cheryl Jessee of Toledo, Pam (Steven) Cousino of Oregon; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; a special granddaughter, Cassi Hamlin; nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Gould.

Clark was a strong, loving, fiercely loyal and fair man. May his time in Heaven be filled with sunshine, 18 holes of golf, bowling the perfect game and square dancing the night away.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Kindred Funeral Home, 400 Union Blvd., Englewood. Additionally, the family will receive friends on Friday, August 29, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 4210 W. Central Ave., Toledo, where Graveside Services will be at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or a .
