David G.
David G. Petsche, 71, of Port Clinton and formerly of Oregon, OH died Monday, December 14, 2015, at St. Vin-cent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, OH. He was born February 26, 1944, in Toledo, the son of Louis and Doratha (Larmie) Petsche Jr. He graduated from Oregon Clay High School and attended the University of Toledo. He married Julia E. McCall on January 16, 1965, and she survives. David was a proud member of Operating Engineers Local 18 in Toledo where he served on the advisory board. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1610, Port Clinton and he was the President of Lake in the Woods Condo Association. He loved walking on the beach, reading and bird watching. He enjoyed traveling to Ft. Myers Beach, FL in the winter.
Surviving are his wife, Julia; daughter, Barbara (Gary) Girolimon of Colorado; grandchildren, Terra (Greg) Koernig of Pennsylvania, Colombe (Justin) Girolimon of Colorado; great-grandchildren, Bailey Koernig, Silva Koernig, Ari Hagan; brother, Don (Fran) Petsche of San Diego, CA. He was preceded in death by his son, David L. Petsche and brother, James Petsche.
Memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2015, from 5-7 p.m. at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St., Port Clinton, OH 43452. Memorial contributions may be given to The Muscular Dystrophy Association, 500 W. Wilson Bridge Rd., Worthington, OH 43085. Online condolences may be shared with the family at:

Dolores and I have fond memories of visiting with Dave, Julia and family many times when brother Don or when Don and his wife Fran were in town.
