Richard Mesnard Obituary

MESNARD Richard Dale Richard served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1948 as an Aerographer's Mate Airman. He worked for 30 years as a paper handler for the Toledo Blade, retiring in 1985. He was a member of the Whitehouse American Legion Post #384 and Toledo Newspaper and Printing Graphics Union #27. He married Wanda (Taylor) August 5, 1949 in Waterville, OH. She survives along with children, Scott (Cheryl) of Onsted, MI, Gary of Whitehouse, OH, Leslie (Lee) of Moody, TX, and Colleen (Mark) Dotson of Waterville, OH; 6 grandchildren, and sister, Betty Huffman of Camp Verde, AZ. He was preceded in death by 1 grandson. A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 11:00 a.m., at Peinert Funeral Home, Whitehouse, OH. Rev. Del Bonar will officiate. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be given to The Arthritis Foundation. www.peinertfuneralhome.com

God be with you and yours, Wanda, as you learn to live life here on earth with out the presence of Dick. Our sympathy is yours and we trust that Dick did not suffer. Our "dancing" [and Lou's "working"]memories which are good ones and we trust that the legacy that Dick left behind will be a comfort to all of you.
