John W. "Jack" JAEGLY

JAEGLY John W. "Jack" John W. "Jack" Jaegly, 83, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2010, in the Kingston Residence of Perrysburg. He was born May 22, 1926 in Toledo to Herman and Florence (Pool) Jaegly. Jack was in Sales and Marketing for the Kuhlman Corporation for 40 years, retiring in 1999. He served his country in the United States Navy. Jack was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee, Maumee American Legion Post 320, Phi Theta Kappa Fraternity and Phi Eta Sigma. He enjoyed collecting items from American History especially the Civil War. Jack is survived by his loving wife, Bernice (Stroud) Jaegly; children, Robert (Janice) Jaegly, Jill (Kevin) Irwin and Peter (Nora) Jaegly; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters Regina (Joseph) Dobes and Rita Reed; and sister-in-law, Mickey Jaegly. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Couch. Family and friends may visit Friday, April 30, 2010 from 2-8 pm in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, where a Scripture Service will be held at 7 pm. Funeral services will begin Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am in St. Joseph Church, Maumee.
