BEIGHTOL Sylvia Soloff 9/7/1924 ~ 9/10/2010 Our dear, wonderfully sassy mother made her transition to her next great adventure on Friday, September 10th, 2010, in the loving arms of her beloved children, Gail, Marc and Joy. Sylvia was born to Russian immigrant parents, Dina Horowitz and Israel Soloff in Queens, New York. Although she had a successful career as a realtor, the mission she considered most meaningful in life was caring for her family. She leaves behind her daughters, Gail Pettit of Tampa FL and Joy Beightol of Salt Lake City UT, and son, Marcus L. Beightol of Sylvania OH; granddaughters, Melanie Pietras Bacca of New Port Richey FL, Jennifer Jones Pietras of Glendale CA, Samantha Stechschulte of Salt Lake City UT and grandson, CJ Stechschulte of Portland OR; as well as 4 great-grandsons. As the leader of her Tuesday Lunch Bunch girlfriends, their question WWSD (What Would Sylvia Do?) will always resonate with all of us. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at a time to be determined (in 2-3 weeks). Please visit Sylvia's facebook page to communicate with the family. We wish to extend our deepest gratitude to the 5th floor staff at Lake Park, as well as her compassionate care givers at Flower Hospital and Hospice of Northwest Ohio. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Sylvia's name. Shalom Aleichem. Arrangements by the Robert H. Wick/ Wisniewski Funeral Home, 419-535-5840.
