SNIEGOWSKI Beatrice A. Beatrice A. Sniegowski, 91, of Oregon, Ohio, and longtime Point Place resident for over 50 years, passed away at home on September 13, 2010, surrounded by her loving family where she lived for the past six years. She was born in Toledo, Ohio to Frank and Pauline (Pakowski) Zdawczyk. On January 21, 1952, she married Albin Sniegowski. Beatrice worked for Jeep for 30 years before retiring in 1981. She enjoyed her many trips to Las Vegas and Hawaii with her husband and their friends, Joe and Shirley Bodnar. She also enjoyed playing Bingo. Beatrice was a long-time member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Beatrice is survived by her children, Nick (Pam) Rudzki, Larry (Linda) Sniegowski, Laurie (Bernie) Patchen and Lisa (Larry) Davis; grandchildren, Christopher (Allison), Joshua Sniegowski, Danielle (Ron) Carapellucci, Rosanna Patchen, Mike and Jon Davis; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, David Zdawczyk and sister-in-law, Eleanor Krueger; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albin Sniegowski; parents, Frank and Pauline Zdawczyk; brothers, Ollie and Danny; sisters, Mary Labiak, Helen Zablocki, Emily Karpinski and Lorrie Zdawczyk. Family and friends may call at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday, September 19th from 1:00-8:00 p.m. where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials in Beatrice's name may be directed to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or Odyssey Hospice.
