EARL Bonnie Lee Bonnie Lee Earl, 70, of Reading, passed away Monday, October 4, 2010, at he Community Health Center of Branch County. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, on November 6, 1939, to Eldon and Violet (Beal) Smith. Bonnie graduated from Maumee High School, Ohio. She was a member of the Allen United Methodist Church. Bonnie was a painter, artist and sculpturer, finding art in anything and anyone. She also loved music and her grandchildren. She was active in the local Native American culture and a former 4-H and Cub Scout leader. On November 8, 1958, Bonnie married Willard (Bill) Earl Sr. and he preceded her in death in 1996. She is survived by daughters, Bethany Earl, Globes, MI, Bridget (Steven) Walman, Kalamazoo, MI; son, Bill (Patti) Earl Jr., Coldwater, MI; mother, Violet Smith and 8 grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her father. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 8, at 11 a.m. at the Allen United Methodist Church with Pastor Craig Pahl and grandchildren officiating. Visitation is scheduled Thursday, October 7, from 6-8 p.m. at the George White Funeral Home, Reading. Memorials are suggested to the Allen United Methodist Church or Domestic Harmony of Hillsdale.
