MORSE James K. James K. Morse, 76 of Monroe, died Thursday, December 30th in his home. Friends may call from 3 - 8 p.m. Monday in the Rupp Funeral Home, Monroe where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle, Michigan. Born February 15, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of John and Lottie (Gibson) Morse. He married Nancy Hogan on May 7, 1955 in Toledo. She died June 15, 1974. He then married Cladis I. (Cupp) Keller on November 29, 1974 in Monroe. James was employed as a machine operator with General Motors at the Hydramatic/Powertrain plant in Toledo, retiring in 1999. James is survived by his wife; two daughters, Sue Morse of Toledo and Roxanne (Dennis) Hidecker of Vincennes, Indiana; two step sons; two step daughters; a sister, Doris Price of Toledo; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his first wife, James is preceded in death by a grandson; a great-granddaughter; a brother Harold Morse; and a sister, Mary Kronberg.
