Leonard OSINSKI Obituary
OSINSKI Leonard Leonard Osinski, age 85, of Toledo, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving daughters who will sorely miss him. He was born on January 22, 1926 in Toledo, OH to Frank and Maggie (Kujawa) Osinski. Leonard was a PFC in the US Army and Veteran of WWII. He was as a Quality Control Inspector for Gerity Schultz for 45 years. A kind-hearted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather with a good sense of humor, he cherished his family and home. He also enjoyed occasional trips to the casinos with his family. Leonard is survived by his daughter, Marlene Osinski; son, Greg (Sharon) Osinski and his children, Chad Osinski and Sonya (Lynn) Wolf (Chase and Will), and daughter, Mary Ann (Frank) Engelbert and her children, Sarah (Jason) Swetnam (Caleb and Evan) and Larissa (Chris) Fraley (Adia, Isaac and Andrew). He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Delphine (Kowalinski) Osinski; and sons, James and Ronald Osinski. Family and friends may visit on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. in the Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114-128 E. Alexis Rd., where a Scripture Service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will begin Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in Regina Coeli Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
